Our Commitment
Signway RI is committed to providing a website and digital experience that complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and broadly accepted as the benchmark for accessible web content in the United States.
We design, build, and maintain our website with accessibility as an ongoing priority rather than a one-time check.
Our Accessibility Standards
We build and maintain our website with the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation. All interactive elements are accessible using a keyboard alone. Users who cannot use a mouse can navigate the site, complete forms, and access content.
- Screen Reader Compatibility. The site is structured with semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks to support screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Alternative Text. Images include descriptive alternative text where the image conveys meaningful information.
- Color Contrast. Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements for legibility.
- Resizable Text. Users can resize text up to 200 percent without loss of functionality.
- Clear Structure. Pages use clear heading hierarchy, descriptive link text, and logical reading order.
- Form Labels. All form fields are labeled and include error messages and instructions in accessible formats.
Beyond the Websites
Signway RI's commitment to accessibility extends to the commercial sign work we produce for customers.
We design and fabricate ADA-compliant signage for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, multi-tenant properties, hospitality, education, and any property requiring accessible identification, wayfinding, and emergency signage. Our work meets the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, ANSI A117.1, and applicable federal, state, and local accessibility requirements.

Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is not a one-time achievement. We continuously evaluate our website and content, address issues as they are identified, and update our practices as standards evolve. Our team receives regular guidance on accessibility best practices, and we incorporate accessibility considerations into new content and feature development.
Known Limitations
We aim for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. Despite our efforts, some content or features may not be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Some older content may not yet meet current accessibility standards
- Third-party tools embedded in the site (forms, analytics, social media widgets) may have their own accessibility limitations beyond our direct control
- PDF documents posted to the site may not be fully accessible in all cases
We are working to address known limitations and welcome notification of any issues we have not yet identified.
How to Report Accessibility Issues
If you encounter accessibility issues on our website, have difficulty accessing information, or need assistance using a specific feature, please contact us. We respond to accessibility inquiries within three business days.

Alternative Formats
If you need information from our website in an alternative format such as large print, plain text, or audio, contact us at the address above and we will provide the information in the format you need.
Our website may include content from third-party sources, embedded videos, social media widgets, or external services. These third parties have their own accessibility policies. We work with third-party providers that prioritize accessibility, but we cannot fully control the accessibility of every external service.
Formal Complaints
If you believe we have not adequately addressed an accessibility concern, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice or other applicable enforcement agency.
We encourage you to contact us directly first so we can work to resolve the issue. Most accessibility concerns can be addressed quickly through direct communication.
